America 24/7 Earlier this year, everyone in America with a digital camera was invited to submit photographs that depict their lives, families and communities - and what it means to be American. Pulitzer Prize-winning professionals, students and amateur photographers across the nation responded, shooting more than 1 million pictures. The resulting book, “America 24/7”, is organized into six themes covering home, work, play, belief, community and American scenes. MSNBC News offers a selection of images corresponding to each theme in the form of a slide show with music. The effect is stunning.
